Honestly i don't mind running friends or friends of friends through Kara.
But ive been through there enough times to know i don't want to take total strangers in there who'll bugger off to some beginner raid guilds the second they get sufficiently geared/experiance.
I'm not doing it because i need or want or have any desire to go back in their trust me ive done that place hundreds of times, im doing it because i want to do it with friends, and want my friends to have a blast in that place also.
No chance on getting Dan back though he seems happy enough just blasting people on Halo 3 and stuff

Yeah, I agree with you. Just posted the options I could think of.
We could harass Nashme, he will probably prefer to stay protection so he could tank, but if bullied perhaps holy? *wink*

or if he got to 70 he could man the other tank spot?
Could ask Nihilus if he has any in his guild who would ..or yas coudl maybe ask people like Raye or Delryn? theres a healer and tank

Yeah, Raye and Delryn could do! And yeah, Nashme would need to be 70 of course. Maybe Kinna want to join with Vicous? She's a tank I think. Or Lyth with Claight. Not 70 yet though.

Wouldn't there need to be some gearing before I enter Karazhan? I mean, even if I took the time to level to 70 now - I could probably be there by Sunday, if I really went for it - wouldn't there be even more to do afterwards? I don't know, I've never done anything more than groups.
I'd rather not respecc holy, because I really like the protection spec. On the other hand, we don't have any holy paladins in GC, so it might be worth it to try it out. Bah, I have to change my playing style from 'crazy button mashing' to 'heal - heal - heal', I'd rather not. But yeah, if I get to 70, is that enough, or do I have to gear up first? |

Not really, there's no real gear checks boss wise until the curator.
and from what i hear even the Grey Company can down him these days, alot of Kara has been nerfed considerably.
As long as you have 10 moderatly geared people who know what they are doing the first 3 bosses are do able quite quickly.
And should our group get going we'll have a couple of exceptionally geared people per run or more probably so that should help.
On that though i would aim for level 70 blue quest gear. Obviously not every slot needs to be a top blue, but in SMV and Netherstorm there's some decent smallish group quest chains at 70.
As long as you mix in some blues and keep your greens updated(eg level 70 greens where blue isnt possible as opposed to level 65 greens) you should be fine.
while do me a favour ..make me a Kara section,,your better at that shit then me 
and please please if you have ANY friends who would be willing(*coughs* and can heal) tell them to speak to me or come to this forum for a friendly chat.
